This page outlines how orders, holds, shipping, privacy, and use of this website are handled at First Strike Comics. By placing an order or using this site, you agree to the policies below.

1 Purchases, Shipping & Order Issues

All Sales Are Final

All sales are final once an order is placed. Please review item listings carefully before completing checkout.

Wrong or Damaged Orders

If an order arrives damaged or incorrect due to our error, you must contact us within 72 hours of delivery. Please include clear photos of:

  • The item(s)
  • The packaging
  • The shipping label

If the issue is verified, we will resolve it with a replacement, store credit, or refund at our discretion.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders cannot be modified or cancelled once they have been packed or shipped.

Returns

Returns are not accepted unless explicitly approved in writing. Unauthorized returns will not be processed.

2 Hold & Save Policy

The Hold & Save program allows customers to combine multiple purchases into a single shipment.

How Hold & Save Works

  • Selecting Hold & Save at checkout means your order will be held at our warehouse instead of shipping immediately.
  • Additional eligible purchases may be added to your hold over time.
  • Shipping is billed separately when you request shipment or when an automatic shipping threshold is reached.

Shipping Your Hold

  • When you are ready to ship, submit a Ship My Hold Box request.
  • A shipping invoice will be generated based on box size, weight, and destination.
  • Orders ship only after the shipping invoice has been paid.

Automatic Shipping Thresholds

To keep holds manageable, automatic shipping will be triggered when either of the following limits is reached:

  • Your hold reaches 100 books, or
  • Your hold remains open for 120 days

Once triggered:

  • A shipping invoice will be automatically generated.
  • No additional items may be added to the hold.
  • The order will ship after the invoice is paid.

Customer Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor the size and duration of their hold and to request shipment before reaching an automatic shipping threshold.

Final Sale

All items placed into Hold & Save are final sale and subject to standard store policies.

3 Abandoned Hold Boxes

Hold & Save orders are intended to be actively managed.

Inactivity Period

After we have attempted to contact the customer about shipping their hold box & when they have reached the limit threshold. If the customer does not pay the shipping invoice, does not answer emails or phone calls and we have exhausted all options available multiple times. Then and only then will find that customer to have abandoned their hold box.

Notification

We will attempt to contact the customer using the email address, phone number and address on file to request shipment or further instruction.

Required Action

If no response or shipping request is received within 60 days of notification, the hold may be considered abandoned.

Resolution of Abandoned Holds

At our discretion, abandoned holds may be:

  • Shipped and invoiced for shipping
  • Converted to store credit
  • Partially or fully forfeited

No Liability

First Strike Comics is not responsible for loss, value changes, or market fluctuations related to abandoned hold items.

4 Special Items & One-Off Purchases

Sight-Unseen & Bulk Purchases

Sight-unseen collections, bulk lots, and mystery-style purchases are sold as-is and are not eligible for refunds, returns, or disputes.

5 Privacy & Customer Information

We collect only the information required to operate our store.

  • Contact and shipping details
  • Order and payment information
  • Basic technical data such as cookies and browser information

How Information Is Used

  • To process and fulfill orders
  • To communicate regarding purchases
  • To improve site performance and user experience

We do not sell customer information.

Your Rights

You may request access to or deletion of your personal information at any time.

Acceptable Use

Ownership
